2018-07-31 Austin, TX

Continuing on with 2018 right now with 7/31, Austin, TX

Haven't looked at the .NET page for it yet, but I think it has a great setlist and the opening Sample In a Jar just kicks total tail - lots of energy!

Nice to have Light in the #2 spot instead of trying to segue it awfully out of another song. Works great!!!

Light was pretty good - the first half of the song and jam was so-so, but the final couple minutes REALLY got cookin. If they kept going it woulda been great!

Moma Dance is FANTASTIC!!!! Freaking hotter than the sun - same with Funky B. Good stuff!

HOLY CRAP THIS FUNKY B IS SMOKIN! :faint:

If you like the songs, this is a really excellent first set. LOADED with energy, the guys are on fire. Also, Page is the MVP for the set - he is just murdering his keys (see Halfway to the Moon).

Odd show for me - lots of energy and HOT versions, some great jamming with Everything's Right...

A very good show but it felt like set 1 outclassed set 2. Not by a lot, jsut a little.
A strong B+/A- show for me and one I'll cherry pick if I ever return to
