Having tackled the hurdle of the 2010 Broomfield shows, I now can REALLY
start the much-lauded Fall '10 tour with 10/15 Charleston
This looks like it's gonna be a beast - just look at that setlist!!!!
A Punch opener, Reggae Woman, Destiny Unbound, Mike's>Horse>Mexican>Groove....
So far the Punch opener ain't disappointing!!
Bathtub Gin is terrific tonight. At first I thought it was gonna be a
sleeper - it is VERY chill compared to many other versions.
But luckily I was surprised and the boys were just taking their time,
marinating the meat to let it get some flavor instead of diving in right
away for the big chomp.
Just fantastic to hear how it slowly builds and builds and builds in intensity with each passing minute.
Just finishing up 10/15/10
This played like an extra hot Dead show. Lots of hot Type I jamming
within the songs, awesome song selection with a number of big rarities,
energy out the roof....
It just lacked....magic. It was like, A+ for effort but for reasons
beyond anyone's control it didn't manage to "transcend", ya know?
Not a classic, but still an overall awesome show!!!
