HOLY CRAP THIS FIRST SET IS INSANE!!!!

The opening 20 min Blaze On (one verse of Plasma included) is must hear!!!!! A perfect, 1.0-level, let it flow jam! MUST HEAR!

Vultures is S-tier tonight. Super tight and with a goodebump inducing solo from Trey. Wonderful set placement.

Sample is a NUCLEAR BOMB! Best since Bakers Dozen?! Seriously, it shocked me how strong this was!!!!

Ya Mar is A++++
Slightly extended and with the most grogeously delicate Trey soloing, plus lots of great interplay between everyone......

Wow!!!!!!

Steam is absolutely terrific tonight. A+ version

MyFe is MyFe, but good lord, this should forever be paired with Walls from now on. Its like they were made to be played together. THAT SEGUE!!!!!!

And of course Walls is destructive

The set definitely felt too short for Walls to be cropping up already, and they cap it off with a nice, Type 1 rager Ghost. Honestly, its the only misstep of the set, and thats only because its an awkard, measly 9 minutes. What is here is great, there just ain't enough of it! A+ first set!  

Set 2 opens with a mandatory listening, 20 min Wave of Hope

This one puts the Mexico version to shame!!!! It goes Type II heavenly bliss and is basically a soaring, 20 minute hose peak of epic proportions!!!! Similar to the Hampton 2018 Simple that just builds and builds and builds and never stops. X FACTOR MAGIC!!

Talk about blowing your load early, lol

A very nice Bouncing follows and gives us a nice cooldown.

No Men is up next. Its only 10 min but feels like 20. Full blown Type 2 bliss ambience. Trey lays back a bit too much for my liking, but there is a strong 4 or 5 minutes of good stuff going on.


Up next is a 17 min Golden Age!
What the hell is going on?!? Crazy strange sound! Is that the drill?! Wacky, weirdo, X Factor type 2!!!!!! Holy crap, super strange! Must hear!! Super dark and super weird!!!! Black hole!!! Melt would be proud!!!! Yo, dawg, what the hell was that?!?! That was even crazier than the jams from 2 24!!!! I mean, seriously, that was in league with the Hampton 2018 Golden Age (the GOAT, imho)
Dude....Not exaggerating, that was easily Deer Creek 2021 Simple quality.

A very nice pair of Martian Monster and The Wedge bring us back to ground. Bug is nice. Then BOTT.

And the slow downhill slide commences....



To be fair, all 4 are excellent, but this is type 1, first set stuff here. That BOTT has gotta be the greatest anticlimactic set ender in ages.

Thankfully a snazzy Fluffhead makes up for it as the encore! Fluff is loaded with extra energy and even has a brief jam at the end.


All in all, talk about yer tour opener!!! An absolutely KICK ASS show! Set 2 petered out after Golden Age, but whe you had that and the Wave of Hope, who the hell cares?! The 3.6 rating on .NET is way too low. This was a solid 4.0 or 4.1 imo, maybe even a 4.2 if im being generous.
