Buried Alive - My God the drum sound is awful! That aside, this is pretty perfect. Killer version more than worthy of a highlight!

AC/DC Bag - For the sake of not listing everything, I wont highlight this, but it was an excellent type 1 reading. Really great!

>Free - KILLER!!! Bit of a sloppy segue into it. The jam is chill and easy then it slowly morphs into the fire. Must hear!!!

Sightless Escape - WHERE DID THEY PULL THIS FROM?! KEEP THIS IN ROTATION!!!!! HELL YES!! THIS WAS SICK!!! MUST HEAR!!!

Undermind - Lets get it!!! Page shredding the keys, Trey delivering pure fire... spectacular!!! A++++ The guys are locked in tight!! Must hear!!!! X FACTOR MAGIC!!! THIS IS HOTTER THAN A NUCLEAR BOMB!!!!

Ya Mar - See AC/DC Bag. Killer Type 1 but nothing special.

Beauty of a Broken Heart - A+!!! My favorite Page song and they NAIL it!! Kick ass!!!

Hey Stranger - One of the sickest jams of the year. Must hear. Nuclear explosion wah funk destruction. Incredible. DONT SKIP THIS!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!

Taste - Hell yes! As killer as every other 2023 reading.

Evolve - Is Evolve. Good as ever.

Ghost - 13 min Ghost to close the set. Killer.

All in all, this might have been my favorite of the three first sets so far!! A++++ on the setlist - absolutely the most colorfully diverse set maybe all year!!!! And the playing backed it up. Id say Sightless Escape and Hey Stranger and Ghost are the main highlights musically, but the whole thing killed.

Set 2

Birds of a Feather - 15 min BOAF to open the set! Like the Ghost, this is a total adventure. Goes into type 2 blip bloop land before concluding in a massive hose explosion. Fantastic! Must hear!!!

Wave of Hope - 13 minutes, this one has a funkier gait about it (to my ears, at least). Does its usual hose bliss thing but ends up going DEEP into a hazy, crazy ambience for several glorious minutes!!! Must hear!

Cinnamon Girl - RETURN OF THE SON OF WHERE THE F DID THIS COME FROM?!?!? SICK!!!!

Golden Age - 16 minute Golden Age?! Lets friggin go!!!!! Starts off getting real chill and funky. Soon Gordo and Trey kick on their fx and we are headed for type 2. Robo bliss?? Synths creep in and the jam takes on a very tense and foreboding sound. This is sick!!!! MUST HEAR!!!!!! PSYCHEDELIC BLACK HOLE OUTER SPACE ROBOT GOLDEN AGE!!!!!!!!! DEEPER THAN THE HOLLYWOOD SYSF!! DEEPER THAN THE PHILLY WELL!!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF SATAN!!!!! BLACK HOLE VORTEX OF DOOM AND DEATH!!!!!

>The Well - 9 minutes of guitar rape. Killer .

You Enjoy Myself - FLAWLESS!!! HELL YES!!! A++++++ WHAT EVEN IS THIS SHOW?!?!?!

The Howling - Not quite the Dicks monster, but this is about 3/4 as good. Worth a listen.

All in all...jesus christ what a set and what a show! The run got better with each show and this night was easily the best since Dicks 2. Outstanding show ....
